Stainless Steel Hand Garlic Press

I like this garlic press as its strong, you can easily crush bigger garlic, easy to clean. I don't use 2 additional tools, but I'm happy with my purchase.

I really like this, it does what it should. Press down scrape off press down again and so on. Depending how pressed you want.your garlic.You do need a bit of strength in your hands otherwise its isn't as easy as a regular press. Hence only 4 stars.It is very good though and is built to last. The silicone tube to roll the glove in to release the skin also works a treat.Value for money?Yes.

Not as sturdy as I thought

I’m really pleased with the garlic press - it’s easy to use and almost all of the garlic went through the holes (another I had used in the past left quite a bit of flattened garlic which needed further chopping). I would have given a full five star rating but the tube which comes with it to peel the garlic cloves is really poor. I expected it to be firm enough to roll against the skins of the cloves but it is so floppy it didn’t roll at all - I went back to using the blade of my knife to press the skins off. I’m not too bothered as I really placed the order for the press & this is doing what I wanted it to.

At first I was disappointed in the way it seemed to waste a lot of the garlic bulb but after a bit of practice I realised it was me not the tool. Glad I persevered as there’s no fiddly bits, it washes easily and the black plastic tube is really good at removing the outer skins
